Training
Training is one of the main duties of TESKOMB as laid down in the
Charter. Training activities are undertaken by the Department of Training
and R&D. The training needs of TESKOMB and its sub-organizations
are determined at regular intervals. Training needs analysis is done
through questionnaires, meetings, applications, etc. According to
the determinations made training seminars, meetings and conferences
are held at regional or national level. The target groups of these
training programs differ. The target groups may be classified as follows:
Top Level Management
(TESKOMB, Regional Union and Cooperative Directors, Management and
Inspection Boards)
Professional
Managers (General managers of TESKOMB, Regional Unions and Cooperatives,
Managers and unit heads)
Personnel (Technical
and Support Personnel at TESKOMB, Regional Unions and Cooperatives)
Apart from TESKOMB Directorate, trainers and speakers from the Ministry
of Industry and Trade, Halk Bank and other related organizations are
invited.
Research and Development
TESKOMB has placed special importance on R&D activities in the
recent years. Steps have been taken to determine the problems of the
sector through scientific methods and find solutions that are sustainable
and at the same time in keeping with the latest developments. In this
context, work has been carried out in cooperation with experts and
scientist form related organizations. There are three important researches
that have been undertaken in the recent years. These are:
Tradesmen-Craftsmen
