Relations of TESKOMB with related international organizations are
developing rapidly. European Union holds an important and special
place in activities carried out under international relations. With
the approval of Turkey's status as a candidate country and the acceptance
of the National Plan the integration processes has been initiated.
In this regard, in order to keep up with these developments certain
activities are being carried out to ensure the adaptation of tradesmen-craftsmen
sector to the EU.
It is necessary to examine the situation of the tradesmen-craftsmen
in the EU member states and also the policies and applications pertaining
to this sector. TESKOMB has undertaken two important studies in 2001
to determine the policies regarding and support available to the sector.
